Appalachian Ski Mountain in North Carolina’s High Country has a new beginner slope and teaching area for the 2010/2011 ski season. The gentle cruiser is paired with a new Sunkid conveyor belt, so newbies don’t even have to tackle the lift. Ski resorts make capital improvements each year, but this is the only entirely new slope in our region for this season.
