Monthly dollar amount you can collect from Uncle Sam for being a bike commuter under the Bicycle Commuter Act. The tax credit isn’t much, but it can offset annual repairs. Hopefully would-be bikers will see this as a minor incentive to purchase a new rig, as bike sales plummeted 30 percent in the first part of 2009.
