Don’t miss your chance to see the renowned Smoky Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina in a whole new light during the final installment of Gran Fondo’s 2014 National Championship Bike Series. On September 7th, riders of all speeds and levels will gather in Pack Square Park to begin their journey through the iconic city and its surrounding countryside. 
The event allows for plenty of biker flexibility. Competitors will select one of three distance options for the race: the Gran Route (110 miles), the Medio Route (60 miles), and the Piccolo Route (30 miles). The Gran Route race will feature four timed sections, and winners will be selected based on the best combined times. The champions of each race will receive a variety of prizes and awards!
The courses will begin in downtown Asheville and wind through the nearby Smokies to provide unbeatable mountain views. Each race will conclude back in Pack Square Park, and bikers can celebrate with family and friends at Asheville’s annual Organicfest.
Register now for the Gran Fondo National Championship Series in Asheville, NC. Spots are available through September 5th or until the event is full. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Smokies preservation organization.
