Weekend Picks: Virginia’s Tour de Valley Century and Metric Century Bike Ride Sept. 6

Give your bike the fresh air and miles it’s been craving at the Tour de Valley Century and Metric Century Bike Ride on September 6th. Ride through the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia’s beautiful Augusta and Rockbridge Counties, and get one of the best views the state has to offer. TDV2

Starting from Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro, Va., at 7:30 AM, the race continues through the Valley to and from Goshen Pass. The course features a variety of scenic views and terrain, from mountains and hills to pastures and riversides.  Cross the finish lineback at Ridgeview Park and treat yourself to a swim in the pool as well as drinks and food for all bikers. top finishers will receive prizes from Champions Table Massage, who will also provide services to other competitors throughout the day for only $1 per minute. Register to ride for $55 now through race day. This price includes race entry, a technical t-shirt, aid stations, and the Ridgeview Park after party. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Michael Woodard Memorial Scholarship Fund at Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, a need-based scholarship for students. Competitors must be age 16 and up. Safety first: don’t forget your helmet!
