Having never been to Canaan Valley, W.Va., before this trip, I must say this was a life-changing visit. There is something truly special, truly magical, about this place. Maybe it’s the sea of mountains, or maybe the quaint hole-in-the-wall shops and restaurants in town. But at the end of the day, I feel that the stunning landscape is merely the backdrop to the community that lives and breathes this wild and wonderful valley.
