We see a lot of internet video clips during the week, everything from feature length documentaries to 30 second POV edits. Each Friday we will attempt to bring you our favorites from throughout the week, so you don’t have to go searching for them. This is Clips of the Week.
Find Your Line
This stunningly beautiful video from French filmmaker Seb Montaz-Rosset is amazing. Not much I can say about it except that it makes me happy and grateful there are people creating this kind of art. Worth watching over and over.

Ski the East Freeride Tour
This slightly more regional video is a recap of the 4th Annual Ski the East Freeride Tour from Send It Studios. The Ski the East guys are fairly clownish – in a good way – and like to yuck it up on Twitter, but this video shows how they are trying to give something back by allowing the best East Coast riders to compete in their own Freeride competitions. Check out these hardcore shredders and groms ripping bushes, rocks, and occasionally snow and find out more about the tour here.

Big Wave…Skiing?
Chuck Patterson skiing 50-footers at Jaws in Hawaii. Not sure why he needs poles, though.
TransAm at Seven Springs Recap
Here is a recap of the TransWorld SNOWboarding TransAm presented by Skullcandy at Pennsylvania’s Seven Springs Resort. Lots of tricks and local talent.
Urban Lines
A lot of fly fisherman know about the shad run on the Potomac, but Urban Lines explores the other aspects of fly fishing the tidal Potomac that runs through Washington, D.C. This is only the trailer, but it is compelling and provides a unique view on fishing “where you are.” The feature will be part of the F3T Film Tour, which is stopping in Lexington, Va. on February 11. It’s free, so I’ll see you there.
Getting Out
Fishing the Southern Appalachians can be tough sledding in the winter, but the boys at Southern Culture on the Fly and Bent Rod Media make the most of it. Major Hogzilla at the end, would love to know where it came from…
