Fat biking is quickly catching on here in the Mid-Atlantic, so we headed west this past weekend to the inaugural Mountain State Fat Bike Champs, which took place at White Grass Touring Center in Canaan Valley, W.Va. The course consisted of mostly groomed trails, but, let’s face it, that’s pretty boring to watch. So we posted up at the bottom of Springer Orchard, a mostly ungroomed hill covered in upwards of six inches of snow. The result? See for yourself.
