Guitar hero Warren Haynes has unveiled the line-up for his twenty-second annual Christmas Jam. The big throwdown at the Asheville Civic Center on December 11 will feature a great mix of Southern flavor, including Georgia jam legend Greg Allman, John Bell and JoJo Hermann of Widespread Panic, the gritty rock of the Drive-By Truckers, and the New Orleans brass grooves of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Additional headliners include the Steve Miller Band and Umphrey’s McGee. Haynes will also use the night to debut his new Warren Haynes Band, which is expected to be the guitarist’s main project next year as Gov’t Mule takes a break. As usual, proceeds from the Jam will go to Habitat for Humanity, which to date has received nearly a million bucks from the big event. More artists will be announced soon. Ticket info here.
