Dead End for Roads

signPresident Obama put the brakes on potential road building in remote areas of national forests. In late spring Obama issued a one-year reinstatement of President Clinton’s 2001 roadless rule, which placed a moratorium on road construction and development in nearly 60 million acres of forests.
