Twinkie Diet

An obese Kansas State University nutrition professor went on a snack food diet that predominantly included Twinkies. He lost 27 pounds and lowered his BMI from 29 (obese) to 25 (normal). According to the professor, the key to any diet is cutting calories. Even though his food choice was questionable, he only ate 1,800 calories a day, down from his typical 2,600 calories per day, for 10 weeks.
