Fattest City

Huntington, W.Va. was rated as the unhealthiest city in the nation, according to a study on a U.S. Health Report. The study looked at factors including obesity, toothlessness, and levels of health care. Huntington is located on the banks of the Ohio River in the northern West Virginia. The coal industry abandoned the town, leading to en economic withering of the city. Obesity, unemployment, lack of exercise, a traditional Southern diet laden with cholesterol, lack of education, and high rates of smoking in Huntington were cited in the study.
