The 2010 version of the Farmers’ Almanac was released yesterday, and it’s predicting a chilly winter in Appalachia and other parts of the U.S. If the almanac is correct regional mountain areas can expect more snowfall than recent years and “numbing cold” temperatures. Read more here.
