Marathon Man

Doug EldridgeD.C. runner Doug Eldridge is three quarters of the way through what he is calling the 10-12-100 Challenge. Eldridge, a sports agent, is running 10 marathons this year with a goal of raising $100,000 for the Wounded Warriors Project, a nonprofit that assists wounded war veterans. The son of a soldier, Eldridge decided to give his miles some meaning after he spent time with injured vets while his mother was receiving treatment at Walter Reed. Eldridge has already completed seven marathons, and his last one will be the Marine Corps Marathon in his home city on October 25. Follow his journey at dlesports.com.
