Extreme ski-BASE jumper and all-around badass Shane McConkey passed away last week while filming his latest extreme flick in Italy’s Dolomite Mountains. In the 90s McConkey was a world champion competitive freeskier, but in the past decade he focused on making movies that featured his amazing feats, which included a BASE jump off the Eiger.
