Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival

The third annual Hops in the Hills festival is set to ramp up June 23 and 24 in historical Downtown Maryville, TN.  This yearly craft beer festival will celebrate the science and agriculture of the region, showcasing the regions finest artisan brews.  Beer enthusiasts will gather to enjoy this CELEBRATION OF FERMENTAION with the backdrop of Smoky Mountains National Park. The list of participating breweries included over 50 options that will appeal to a diverse range of tastes.  East Tennessee participants include Blackberry Farm and Yee-Haw Breweries, which each won medals at the 2016 World Beer Cup and other local staples such as Fanatic, Balter and Last Days of Autumn.

Big beer names from around the state will join the fun, including Garr’s Beer, Tennessee Brew Works, Wiseacre Brewing and a regional favorite and last years winner for favorite beerCalfkiller from Sparta, TN.

Regional beer makers such as Highland Brewing Co, Benford Brewing and Good People Brewing will also participate in the festival.  The line-up even features small local breweries such as Tri-Hop Brewery and the local favorite, Blount County Home Brewers. Hops in the Hills is an opportunity for guest to enjoy historic Maryville, Tennessee, which serves as a gateway to the Smoky Mountains.  Plan a weekend to enjoy the trails and streams of our national park, followed up by a great beer festival.
