Rooster Walk and The Infamous Stringdusters are thrilled to announce The Infamous Weekend, taking place September 19-21, 2024, in the picturesque foothills foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Martinsville, VA.
The premiere festival will showcase six sets of music by your hosts, The Infamous Stringdusters, along with a stellar supporting lineup handpicked by the band. Featured artists include Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, The Lil Smokes, The Last Revel, Dangermuffin, Jon Stickley Trio, Falco & Book Play Garcia, The Wilson Springs Hotel, Isaac Hadden, Florencia & The Feeling, TC Carter Band, and The Fly Birds.
Join us for three unforgettable days and nights of live music, on-site camping, outdoor adventures, delicious food and drink, arts, crafts and kids’ activities at the idyllic Pop’s Farm. The pristine 150-acre outdoor music venue is conveniently located less than an hour from Roanoke, VA, Danville, VA, Greensboro, NC, and Winston-Salem, NC
The Infamous Weekend is a family-friendly fall festival at an affordable price! Multi-day and single-day tickets are available. Children ages 12 and younger are admitted free of charge with an admitted adult. A complimentary tram with shuttle stops is available for festival patrons.
The Infamous Weekend provides an exceptional on-site experience with multiple stages, VIP experiences, and outdoor experiences with a large pond in the center of the venue. Enjoy a variety of elite food, arts and craft vendors, craft beers, wine, and much more, all amidst the beauty of mature hardwood canopy forests.
Rooster Walk has partnered with Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine to offer a variety of outdoor adventures, including Smith River floats, fly fishing on the Smith River, guided hikes, pedal boats on the Pop’s Farm pond, a bike ride to a local brewery with Travis Book of The Infamous Stringdusters, disc golf, and slacklining.
Want to take it up a notch? Purchase VIP tickets and/ or Glamping. A slew of intimate, special VIP-exclusive experiences are offered, including VIP-only live music, a VIP swag bag, and a special VIP-only bar. The full list of VIP offerings is still to come from the band, but last year included a late night fire jam with members of The Infamous Stringdusters, a “Dust Covers” set, a happy hour meet-and-greet with members of the band, access to the VIP-only liquor bar, and more.
Rooster Walk Inc., is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to promoting music, arts and education in our home of Martinsville-Henry County, Va. To date, Rooster Walk Inc. has donated more than $286,000 to local and regional charities, including an endowment scholarship fund for Martinsville High School students, as well as a Band Instrument Program for local public school band programs.
