What’s New?

A new High Speed quad, the Peak Express, replaces the fixed grip Peak Quad for the 23-24 season. A new Double Black diamond ski trail, No Hessitation, has been constructed under the new lift. The trail will feature automated snowmaking and LED lights for night skiing and riding. There will be expanded seating and music at Mid-Mountain Grill. We are also starting construction for our Mountain Coaster that is expected to launch in the summer of 2024!

What are the best apres ski activities at the resort and in the area?

There are plenty of spots around the resort to relax and warm up. Sit by the fire slope-side at Base Camp, or warm up inside at Elevations Lounge in the ski lodge. Work together as a team to solve the mystery in the immersive escape rooms or treat yourself to a relaxing day at the spa.

Best Place for Lessons and Gear Rentals?

Massanutten offers private lessons, group lessons, and a Childrens’ Program – Ski & Snowboard Group & Private Lessons in Virginia (massresort.com)

Massanutten’s very own Rental Shop provides skiers and snowboarders with the basic equipment they might need for a fun day on the mountain. Visit the General Store for accessories!

What are your best runs?

With three new runs last year and a new expert trail this year the jury is still out, but Mueller’s Mile was a very popular addition last year. The Blue Square trail allowed more users access to the Peak with a length of a mile long and outstanding views of Massanutten and the Blue Ridge. The new Double Black Diamond trail, No Hessitation, will provide expert level skiers and riders a fresh challenge with a gallery of spectators cheering them on from above.

Do you have family friendly activities?

Massanutten features Snowtubing, a Waterpark, and Ice Skating for all ages and abilities.

Off Season Activities include Mountain Biking, Scenic rides, a Family Adventure Park, Mountain Coaster (coming Summer 24), two golf courses, Escape Rooms, Perfect Break, and seasonal festivals/events such as Snow Moon Fest (March 1-3) and Light up the Park (Now – Jan ‘24), ideal for the whole family.
